| | | | The picture shows a view of this Old 1000 Island Canada Beaded Souvenir Sewing Pin Cushion. This pin cushion is not dated but it is old. It had been used for many years by an elderly woman. When found it was filled with pins. In the picture you can see many holes where the pins had just been pulled out. The back has a red material and there is a cord at the top for hanging. The stuffing is unknown. It is beaded around the edge, has an arrow at the top, and a sunrise or flower at the bottom. It has loops of beads on three sides and beaded lettering. It is marked as follows: 1000

CANADA Not counting the loops of beads it measures 4-1/4'' wide. It is in fair condition as pictured with age discoloration. One of the left side bead loops has come loose but it can be resewn. |
