The picture shows a view of this Old Butter Nut Bread Advertising Premium Tin Clicker. The clicker or noisemaker is not dated but is believed to be from the 1940s. Because of wartime metal shortages, Cracker Jack was also having these clickers made for prizes during World War II from the round scraps of Ball canning jar lids. The clicker is marked as follows:

Genuine
Butter - Nut Bread
''Rich As Butter - Sweet as a Nut''
Makes Sturdy Boys and Girls

The clicker measures 1-3/4'' wide. It is in good condition with some wear from use as pictured.
