The first page reads: "Compliments Of Your Volkswagen Dealer". This is an interesting concept, the dealership gives you a book poking fun at the very car you are looking to buy! Maybe you got it after you signed on the dotted line. It is a book cramed full of all sorts of humor, cartoons, comics, and jokes concerning the Volkswagen, all from different illustrators. I believe that these were all compiled from their use in many publications up to it's 1967 date. This book is a must for any bug or beetle owner! It measures 8-1/4" x 6-3/4". It is in vey good condition with some wear to the cover as can be seen on the scan and with a name and address written inside. |
