Early Wooden Goodegogood Character Acrobat Novelty Toy
Wooden   Acrobat   Circus   Cartoon   Comic   Comic Strip   Brownie   Palmer Cox   Character   Novelty   Toy
The picture shows two views of this Early Wooden Goodegogood Character Acrobat Novelty Toy. The toy is not dated but it is believed to be from the late 1800s. It is made of wood and string and has colorful printed paper applied to the figure. The figure very much resembles the early Palmer Cox Brownie characters. It is marked on the hat and collar on the two sides as follows:

TRADE MARK
GOODEGOGOOD
THAT'S ME!

To judge the sizes the entire toy measures about 8'' tall. It is in working order and appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured.
