| The picture shows the (2) 1800's Christian Endeavor Religious Medals / Badges in this lot. Both of these are from Massachusetts. The right one is dated 1895 and the other is believed to be earlier. The left one is all metal. It is marked
"MASSACHUSETTS"
at the top and has the Christian Endeavor logo. The lower section has a fancy raised design with a Native American Indian in the center with a bow and arrows. there is some latin on the banner.The second one has a silk ribbon marked "BOSTON '95". It has a hanging charm made of bakelite. It has the Christian Endeavor logo in the center and reads as follows:
"FOURTEENTH INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION
BOSTON JULY 10 - 15 1895".To judge the sizes the left one measures 2-1/2" tall. It is in mint condition and the right one appears to be near mint or mint as well. |
