(8) Old Stereoscopic or Stereoview Photograph Cards
Stereoscopic   Stereoview   3-D   Photo   Photograph   Card   Littleton   New Hampshire
The pictures show a view of all (8) Old Stereoscopic or Stereoview Photograph Cards in this lot. All but one of these were made by the same maker. The first two are from 1888 and the others are believed to be around the same time period or shortly after. All but one of these are marked on the back as follows:

Photographed and Published by
B. W. Kilburn (on the first two)
Kilburn Brothers (on the others)
Littleton, N.H.

The first stereoview card has an image with much going on. There is a bridge that may be the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. There are four locomotive train engines on a pier with buildings. In the water there are steamboats, a ferry and more. It has print on the side and a title section. These read as follows:

Entered according to act of Congress, in the year of 1888. By B. W. Kilburn in the Office of the Librarian of Congress, at Washington, D.C.

4977. The Wonder of the Age.

The second stereoview card has an image with decorated horse drawn wagons. The closest one has a man dressed in white and a top hat driving the wagon. Behind him is a flag. In the back there are women dressed in white. Far in the background there appears to be a church with a steeple. It has print on the side and a title section. These read as follows:

Entered according to act of Congress, in the year of 1888. By B. W. Kilburn in the Office of the Librarian of Congress, at Washington, D.C.

5919. The Lillies.

The third stereoview card has an image with icicles for a background. In the foreground there is a sugar bowl, spoon, goblet, knife, and a bowl of limes. The side and title sections read as follows:

Published By F. G. Weller. Littleton, N.H.

Help Yourself, - NO.23.

The fourth stereoview card has a colorful image with flowers and plants. The title section reads as follows:

NO.35.

The fifth stereoview card has an image of ice crystals on tree branches or plants. The title section reads as follows:

NO.208. Frost Work.

The sixth and seventh stereoview cards are the same. They each have an image of ice crystals and icicles on tree branches or plants with a fish. The title sections read as follows:

NO.223. Seven Pound Trout.

The eighth and final stereoview card in this lot has an image of icicles and many caught fish. The title sections read as follows:

NO.115. A Day's Sport.

To judge the sizes the first two are slightly larger and each measure 7'' x 3-1/2''. These appear to be in excellent condition with some light wear as pictured.
