Hardware   Store   Advertising   Packaging   Sign   Display   WWII   Homefront   Photo   Photograph   Nostalgic
The picture shows this Old Advertising Store Window Display Photograph. This photograph was found amongst other World War II homefront photographs from Fitchburg and Boston, Massachusetts.

The photo pictures what is believed to be a Hardware store window display of a few different products. One is cans or tins of "BAB-O Grease Disolving Cleanser" and "LYE Drain Cleaner". There are signs, displays, and prices. All of the signs are clear and can be read. The sign at the front reads as follows:

Sparkle BAB-O
How It Makes Your
Bathroom Enamel Sparkle!
Special This Week 12c Can

The photograph measures about 4-1/2" x 3-1/4". It is in excellent condition with some creasing that does not show up in the scan below.
