| | | The pictures below show larger front and back views of the Colorful 1935 Comic Strip Character Get Well Greeting Card with Dated Envelope in this lot. The card has a cute story with ''Hattie, the Home Girl'' and her nurse when she was sick. This greeting card was mailed from Rochester, New Hampshire on December 16th, 1935 to someone at the Frisbee Memorial Hospital in the same city. The envelope has (2) Warren Harding 1-1/2 cent postage stamps. The maker of this card is unknown. It only has the number ''374'' in the lower right corner. The colorful greeting card opens like a newspaper and it is marked as follows: WELLVILLE NEWS COMIC COLORED SUPPLEMENT HATTIE, THE HOME GIRL ''GET WELL SOON'' From Barbara (small signature at the bottom) The fully opened card measures 11'' x 11-1/2''. It has bright colors and appears to be in excellent condition with two spots as pictured (see back picture #2 below). The envelope has a torn flap on the back as pictured. |
