There is only one spoon and newspaper advertisement included here. The advertisement is dated ©1940, By Standard Brands Incorporated. The offer and unused order form on the page expired on March 31, 1940. The page has “Chapter 1” of Tales of The Royal Family titled “THE ROYAL FAMILY MEETS WALT DISNEY’S PINOCCHIO”. It pictures Pinocchio with a young Queen or Princess on top of a stone wall at a castle, and at a dinner table, with her holding his spoon on a pillow. There is another small image of him in the top right corner as well. The ad pictures the Pinocchio spoon, with a Royal Desserts Jell-O mold, and gives the details of the offer. For only 10 cents and the package front from Royal Desserts, they mailed you one of the Pinocchio character spoons. The back of the ad has a 1940 King Features Snuffy Smith and Lo-Wizie Hillbilly comic strip. The spoon features Pinocchio and a Donkey character. It is marked on the two sides as follows: PINOCCHIO

DUCHESS SILVER PLATE To judge the sizes the character spoon measures about 5-3/8'' long. The spoon has not been cleaned or polished. It does have a small dent in the bowl section, otherwise it appears to be in good condition. The original framable advertisement is on newsprint paper. It has a center vertical fold, and some light tattering on the edge, as pictured.
