Shown is two sides of the mailer box and unopened Deodorant Beauty Bar of soap. Also shown is a closer readable view of the accompanying letter. These are not dated but are believed to be from 1957 when Proctor & Gamble first introduced the brand of soap. This lot is being offered as old advertising collectible item. The old bar of soap was mailed from Proctor & Gambles Nevada, Iowa address to each rural star route family of Alton, New Hampshire. This may be the only suriving example. The letter explains and advertises the product. To judge the sizes the mailer box measures 3-3/4'' x 2-1/2'' x 1-1/4''. The packaging has soiling and wear as pictured. The letter has a few spots and folds as made for mailing. |
