The picture shows a view of this Colorful ©1941 Elsie The Cow and Her Family Board Game. Shown is the game cover, the game board, instruction sheet, and color wooden game pieces. The game was manufactured by Selchow and Righter Company of New York and ©1941. The game pictures Elsie the Cow, Elmer, and their calf Beulah as well as their barn. There is an introduction on the instruction sheet that reads as follows:

"This is a game about Elsie, the Famous Cow, known and loved by old and young alike. No doubt you know too, that Elsie has a husband whose name is Elmer. Elsie and Elmer are the proud parents of Beulah, a darling little calf. All three live in a big, clean, modern barn, but in the daytime they are out in the pasture eating wholesome alfalfa and sweet clover. In the evening they wander slowly back to the barn. In this game, you try to be the first to get your Elsie, Elmer and Beulah back in the barn and it's grand fun doing it."

To judge the sizes the box measures 14'' x 12-5/8'' x 1-1/2''. It is in good condition with over all wear to the box as pictured and one split corner. On the box cover in pencil is ''Gail's game age 10, 1951''. The spinner section is missing the metal spinner but it could be replaced with one from another game. The point of the spinner is included.
