| The picture shows a view of this Old Victorian Interior Photograph With Map & Miniature Billiards Pool Table. There is a man and two boys, possibly his sons playing the game. This photograph is not dated but it is believed to be from the late 1800s or early 1900s. It was one of many old Victorian era family photographs that were purchased together. The family is believed to be from the Boston, Massachusetts area and someone in the family had attended or was attending school at Harvard University. The pool table is one that has legs but was seen in another old photo on top of a table with a table covering. Note the early light bulb and electric fixture hanging from the ceiling. There is a large school type wall size framed map of the United States. Most of the writing on the map can easily be read from the photo. Also in the room appears to be an old photograph holder, with photo cards hanging on the wall, an old print of Jesus Christ, a day bed and another old chair. This great old black & white image is an original print old old photographic paper. It measures about 5'' x 4''. It is in mint as made condition as pictured. |
