The picture shows all (7) 1959 Japan Photographs in this lot. These are believed to have been taken by American Servicemen either visiting Japan or Stationed there at the time. Each one has a hand written note on the back. Beginning at the left they are marked as follows:

#1. Shows a young woman carrying a child. Marked on back: "JAPANESE MOTHER TOKYO, JAPAN 1959".

#2. Shows a Japanese Market / Grocery Store. Marked on back: "A SHOP IN JAPAN "TOKYO" JAPAN 1959".

#3. Shows a Motorcycle, a Three Wheeled Vehicle, and a Bicycle
Marked on back: "TYPICAL JAPANESE TRUCK JAPAN 1959".

#4. Shows a man behind a sign and in front of a wall of posters, Movie ?, Television?, Shows ? I don't know. The back of a motorcycle can also be seen. Marked on back: "STRIP SHOW ON THE EINSA AVE TOKYO, JAPAN 1959".

#5. Shows a Market Street Scene with a Bicycle in the foreground. Marked on back: "SHOPPING DISTRICT FAMOUS GINSA STRIP TOKYO JAPAN 1959".

#6. Shows a building with an old car in front. Marked on back: "TRAIN STATION YOKOTA, JAPAN 1959".

#7. Shows a man in front of a door with advertising or cards. The signs read: "CHALET" and "OPEN" Marked on back: "JAPANESE TEA HOUSE FUSA, JAPAN 1959".

The old photos each measure 3-3/8" x 2-5/8". They range from good to mint as made condition.
