Old Tall Japanese Doll Figure
Character   Doll   Figure   Figurine   Statue   Japan   Japanese   Geisha   Howard Johnson   Gift   Nostalgic   Novelty
The picture shows two views of this Old Tall Japanese Doll Figure. The doll is on a red painted wooden base. She has wire running through her so she can stand. Her head and arms are poseable. She is wearing a Japanese dress and has pearl bead earrings. Her facial features are painted. The bottom of the base is stamped "JAPAN".

This doll was purchased while on a road trip in 1965 or 1966. It was bought in a Howard Johnson's Restaurant gift shop that was in either Southern Massachusetts or Rhode Island. She measures 15" tall. The doll is in good condition as pictured with some spots on the bottom of her dress and a little wear by her hair line.
