This white porcelain bowl may be dated but we can not read Japanese. If you are able to correctly translate the Japanese characters, we would greatly appreciate it.he painting has a Japanese Army Soldier in uniform and helmet, in front of a stone or block wall with a pagoda building in the background. He is holding up a Japanese flag in one hand, and a rifle gun up in the other. As stated above, we can not read the writing. On the bottom there is a swirl inside a square shape. Outside of that there are four round flat areas. The small bowl measures about 2-3/8'' x 1-1/8''. It appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured. |
