It is octagon shaped and appears to be made of brass. The token has a raised image of Rip Van Winkle on one side. He has a long beard and is holding a rifle and hat. The other side has good luck symbols such as a horse shoe, wish bone, and a four leaf clover. The two sides are marked as follows: RIP'S RETREAT
