Included in this lot are the following items: There is a (68) page ©1957 (eighth edition) YOUR UNITED NATIONS OFFICIAL SOUVENIR GUIDE BOOK. Published by The United Nations Department of Public Information, New York. There are (6) pages of 1950s information that was found in a binder somewhere. And the tops of the pages are rough, as seen in the picture. There are (2) different “VISITORS GUIDE TO THE UNITED NATIONS” multi page advertising brochure booklets one is dated 1955 and the other is 1966. The next item is a stamped First Day Cover for a United Nations Postage Stamp. The envelope features a “United Nations Postal Tribute To Dag Hammarskjold 1905 – 1961 Secretary General United Nations” It is postmarked from the United Nations in New York September 17, 1962, and it pictures a United Nations post mark stamping. The postage stamp is for 15 cents and it features the New York building and their flag. The next item is a ©2003 ANTI United Nations item. It is an unopened boxed deck of cards. We do not know what these cards look like. The box features the UN global emblem with a weasel on each side. There is information on how to order more of these on the other side. It is marked: THE UNITED NATIONS OF WEASELS
NEWSMAX DOT COM There is a 1986 United Nations pin back button for women with a logo or emblem. It reads: UNITED NATIONS’

DECADE FOR WOMEN The final (5) items are all matching ''UNITED NATIONS GUIDED TOUR'' tin tab buttons that have the United Nations map emblem. These were bent over when the visitors had them on for their tour. All thirteen of these old UN items for one price! To judge the sizes, the book, at the top center, measures about 7-3/8'' x 10-1/8'' x 1/4''. These items appears to range from good to excellent condition as pictured, with the few loose pages being tattered at the top as pictured. |
