Whitman   Disneyland   Theme Park   Amusement Park   Walt Disney   Advertising   Game   Card   Character
The picture shows a view of this ©1965 Whitman Disneyland Fun Box With Contents. The contents of this box is not correct. There are extra game boards and other items missing. All that is included is pictured.

First is the box. This box is ©1965 by Walt Disney Productions. It has a mark indicating that it is from the parks tencennial celebration (first fabulous decade). It pictures Donald Duck and his nephews carrying a bass drum. On the drum are early images of Disneyland. The box states that there is supposed to be included: 6 crayons, gameboard, 2 color books, scrap book, dot to dot book, and a card game. What is included are three gameboards and a card game.

The first game board belongs with the kit. It is a Walt Disney Disneyland Tour game. It is ©1955. It has images of characters and Frontierland, Fantasyland, Adventureland, and Tomorrowland.

The other two game boards are attached. They are believed to have been cut from the back of an old 1950s cereal box (prior to 1958). Both games are played with dice. One game is called ''Lucky Skip'' and the other is ''All Aboard''. One has characters and the other has (48) states and Washington, D.C..

The last item in this lot is a complete ©1964 Disneyland card game. It has the title / rule card and (4) cards of each of the following characters:

Donald Duck
Mickey Mouse
Minnie Mouse
Pluto
Thumper
Goofy
Dumbo
Clarabelle
Flower
Daisy Duck
Chip 'n Dale

To judge the sizes the box measures 8-7/8'' x 11-7/8'' x 1-1/2''. The box and the contents that are here are in near mint to mint condition.
