Old Metal Star-Lite Automatic Super Cigarette Lighter
Metal   Starlite   Lighter   Cigarette   Cigar   Tobacco   Smoking   Vintage   Nostalgic
The picture shows three views of this Old Metal Star-Lite Automatic Super Cigarette Lighter. This lighter is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1930s or 1940s. There is a box on the front that has not been engraved. One side is pink or salmon with dark blue stripes. The other side is dark blue. It is marked on the side and bottom as follows:

STAR-LITE
STAR-LITE AUTOMATIC SUPERLIGHTER
JAPAN

The lighter measures about 1-3/4'' tall. It appears to be in fair used condition with some wear and an indent on the blue side. There is also corrosion on the wick area as pictured. We have not filled or tested this lighter, so it must be sold as is as seen. It appears that it works well mechanically. It looks like it has a wick but it is pushed inside. The lighter will require a new flint and lighter fluid.
