The book was by Zack Mosley. It was printed in the U.S.A. by the Western Publishing Company (Whitman) of Racine, Wisconsin. It is copyright 1939 by the Chicago Tribune and the New York News Syndicate. It was also ©1941 by Zack Mosley, and was licensed by Famous Artists Syndicate in Chicago, Illinois. There are many comic strip illustrations inside. In addition to that, inside the book on the top right of the pages is an action flip book movie of a Paratrooper landing. The back cover gives instructions. Several pages in the back list many other different character books that were available. This book measures about 3-5/8'' x 4-1/2'' x 1-3/8''. It appears to be in very good condition with some edge wear to the cover, and a red mark on the cover as pictured, that makes it look like he was shot in the head. |
