Old Japanese Boy Bisque Doll Figure
Japanese   Japan   Boy   Baby   Bisque   Porcelain   Doll   Figure   Figurine   Cultural
The pictures show front and back views of this Old Japanese Boy Bisque Doll Figure. The year that this doll was made is unknown but he is believed to be from the 1930s or earlier. There are no marking that can be seen without completely undressing him. His shirt could not be lifted high enough to see all of his back.

He is made of a porcelain or bisque material. He has nicely painted facial features. His hair and the bottoms of his feet are painted black. The arms and legs are moveable. He is wearing blue and red Japanese clothing with gold trim. He costume also has a woven headband with beads hanging on each side.

The doll or figure measures about 3-5/8'' tall. He appears to be in near mint to mint condition as pictured.
