| The pictures below show two larger views of all (5) Different Wind Up Music Box or Figurine Type Musical Players in this lot. These are not dated and the years that they were made are unknown. Normally these are attached with a wind up mechanism to music boxes, jewelry boxes or figurines. These particular ones were found just as you see them here. Four came off of something and one (bottom center) was sold as you see it here. These could be repaired or used for parts. The top left one has a white plastic base that spins as the song plays. We do not know for sure, but the song might be ''AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER''. On the bottom of the wooden section is a sticker marked ''OMNIBUS © TAIWAN''. The second player (top right) was made in Japan by Sankyo. It plays ''WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS''. On the bottom is a sticker that reads ''© KURT S. ADLER, INC.'' The third player (bottom left) is not working and we do not know what the tune is. The fourth player (bottom center) is complete. It was made in Japan by Sankyo. It is in a clear plastic container with a tine and printed paper top with flowers and it reads ''DAUGHTERS ARE SPECIAL PEOPLE''. It plays well but we do not know the song. The fifth and final player (bottom right) is missing the winding key. The song that it plays is ''ROCK A BYE BABY''. It is marked ''MELODY - JAPAN''. All five of these for one price! To judge the sizes the clear plastic box measures about 2-3/4'' wide. Some of the players are in working order and others are not as mentioned above. Those are being sold for parts or repair. |
