The picture shows a view of this Colorful Old Unused Downtown Yakima Washington Linen Post Card. This postcard is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1940s. The card pictures a Downtown Yakima, Washington scene with buildings, old automobiles, a movie theatre marquee, an American flag, and old advertising signs. Some of the old signs can be read such as ''J. C. PENNEY COMPANY'', ''LIBERTY THEATRE'', ''LIBERTY'', ''KAFFEE SHOP'', ''??? COMMERCIAL'', ''MILLER BUILDING'', ''MODERN OFFICE'', ''KRESS'', and more. The building with the red signs on the right may have been a F. W. Woolworth Comapny store. It is marked on the front and back as follows:

YAKIMA AVENUE, YAKINA, WASH.
ROBBINS - TILLQUIST CO., SPOKANE, WASH.

The postcard measures about 5-1/2'' x 3-1/2''. The front of this unused post card appears to be in mint condition as pictured, but the back has over all paste discoloration from being in a scrap book at some time.
