| | | | The picture below shows larger top and bottom views of the (2) Similar 1920s or 1930s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Embossed Tin Toy Prize Owl Bird Whistles in this lot. The whistles are not dated but they were used as prizes in the 1920s and 1930s. The Cracker Jack ID number for this prize is Z-0463. The left one was made by Seitaro Arai of Japan. The right one was made in China but the maker is unknown. The left prize is marked “JAPAN” on the front, and the right one is marked “CHINA” on the back. Both of these for one price! The prize whistles measure about 3/4'' x 1-1/2''. They appear to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
