| The pictures below show two larger views of the Old Hopalong Cassidy William Boyd Cowboy Hero Character Toy Revolver Gun & Studded Holster in this lot. The toy gun and holster are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1950s. There is one gun, but the holster can have two. We do not know if this gun goes with this holster or not. They are as they were found in a large Hoppy and other Cowboy hero collection that we had acquired. The toy gun is made of a gold colored metal with fancy scrollwork, and it has black plastic grips that are marked “HOPALONG CASSIDY”. The trigger and hammer work well. The gun doesn’t appear to open to use caps. The double holster is made of black leather with many metal studs, rivets, and a buckle. The two gun holders and the back of the belt area are all marked “HOPPY”. The back side has a black felt like material that has wear from use. Both of these Hopalong Cassidy items for one price! To judge the sizes the toy gun measures about 7-1/2'' long. The holster, as it sets, the belt area measures about 25'', but it can go four holes smaller. They could use a good cleaning, but gun and holster appear to be excellent used condition as pictured. |
