It is made of plastic and there are metal gears and wheels in the bottom. The toy works well. You hold it down and roll the wheels, they wind, and you let it go. It rolls fast spins and does circles. The mouse is white with red eyes, red nose, and a pink tail. It is marked on the bottom as follows: “e” in a bell looking shape
