ENGLAND Next there is a brass or bronze coin or medal mounted on a marble base. It has a brown felt section on the bottom, and an unengraved brass plate on the front. There is a sticker on this unused award that reads: FINE MARBLE BASE
MADE IN ITALY There are (2) matching brass medals. These are possibly for mounting on awards. They are marked: EASTERN STAR There is a large pinback button that features an image of the Eastern Star and a covered bridge with the year 1889 on it. It is also marked: OHIO EASTERN STAR
100 YEARS All of the rest of the items included here are jewelry items with the Eastern Star on them. There is a sweater clip (with two clips), (2) pins with bows, a single screw back earring with stones, a black heart charm, (2) 25 Year pins, a Maine State 50 Year pin, and a boxed Massachusetts 50 Year pin. All fifteen of these old OES items for one price! To judge the sizes, the larger plate measures about 7-1’4'' wide. These items appear to range from excellent to mint condition except the pinback button has some old rust spotting on it as pictured. |
