The certificate is not dated, but the promotion for the Kool-Aid Aviation Cap premium advertised on it is from 1938. The front of the certificate pictures a set of Kool-Aid Aviation Jr. Corps wings. The certificate has a boys name filled in and it is signed by Charles Fredericks - TWA Pilot (Chief of Boys Division) and Mary Carlton TWA Hosted (Chief of Girls Division). The certificate is marked as follows: KOOL-AID JUNIOR AVIATION CORPS

THIS CERTIFIES THAT ERNEST CHARLES NEAL IS A FULL FLEDGED
MEMBER OF THE KOOL-AID JUNIOR AVIATION CORPS
A SUCH, THIS MEMBER IS ENTITLED TO WEAR THE OFFICIAL KOOL-AID AVIATION CAP AT ALL TIMES... TO CARRY THE OFFICIAL MEMBERSHIP CARD AS PROOF OF BEING A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING... AND TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY AND ALL ACTIVITIES FOR THE JUNIOR AVIATION CORPS. The back of the certificate has pictures of a TWA Pilot, a TWA Hostess, a TWA Skysleeper plane, and a group of children all drinking Kool-Aid and wearing a Kool Aid Junior Aviation Corps Cap. The certificate measures about 8-1/2'' x 5-3/8''. It appears to be in very good condition with some spotting and wear on two corners as pictured. |
