| | | The picture shows thgis Large Colorful Old Ovaltine Advertisement With Orphan Annie Premium Offer. This nice ad is in a comic strip format. It is entitled:
"BILLY THE VEGETABLE HATER"
The top image is interesting with knives going from the boy's eyes to the vegetable characters at the right. The strip has his Mother going to the grocery store to buy Ovaltine. Another frame shows the boy with a Radio Orphan Annie premium shaker cup. The ad is not dated but believed to be from 1931.The order form is not filled in or cut. It has a double premium offer. It offers a generous sample can of Ovaltine and the famous Radio Orphan Annie Shaker made of genuine Beetleware. It pictures Annie and her dog Sandy. This is a large, very colorful, and frameable advertisement. There is more white space on the sides then seen in the scan below. It measures 10-3/4" x 13-3/4". It is in near mint condition. |
