Early Peanut Vendor Advertising Wagon Glass Photograph Slide With Print
Peanut   Vendor   Hat   Advertising   Wagon   Glass   Photo   Photograph   Slide   Print   Historic   Food   Snack
The picture shows a view of this Early Peanut Vendor Advertising Wagon Glass Photograph Slide With Print. The print that is included is not pictured but it is a clear sepiatone print that measures 7'' x 5-3/4''. The glass slide is not dated or marked but it is old and believed to be from New Hampshire or Massachusetts.

The glass slide image is of an early peanut vendor wagon parked in front of a brick''Granite National Bank'' building. The wagon is half filled with peanuts and there is a man seated inside. There is another early wagon parked behind it. There is a small advertising sign inside that can't be read. What can be read is: ''****** LINE''. The front and side of the wagon have advertising that reads as follows:

THE PERLEY CO.
KNOX HATS
238 WATER ST.

THE PERLEY CO.
CLOTHING
238 WATER ST.
SIGN OR BIG HAT

The glass slide or negative measures 5'' x 4''. It is in excellent or better condition as pictured. Since the scan was done the upper right corner tip was chipped. It is not bad, but that chip is included.
