The picture shows a view of both sides of this Old New York International Airport Advertising Coin. The large dull area in the center of the obverse is not wear. It appears that the gold finish was not applied to this area. The obverse of the coin has a set of wings and reads as follows:

NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

By The City Of New York
April 1942
SIZE 4,900 ACRES
TERMINAL AREA 100 ACRES

The reverse has a raised image of a bird's eye view of the airport and reads as follows:

The coin measures 1-3/8" wide. It is in excellent condition but does have the area of finish missing from when it was made.
