| | | | The pictures show a front and back view of this Old Airplane Model Kit Book Advertisement with a Wrist Compass Premium. This is a two sided advertisement with an unused order form. The ad is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1950s. The book is titled ''Commander Rigby's Flying Models of Jet and Rocket Planes''. What is being offered in the ad is a book filled with (10) airplanes to cut out, build and fly. As a bonus, offered is a premium wrist compass with each book that was ordered. The book had cost $1.00 at the time. The aircraft models that was in the book included the following: Lockheed Shooting Star

Grumman Panther The ad pictures a boy flying one of the planes, the premium wrist compass, the book, and the Designer Commander Rigby. The advertisement is not a magazine cut out. It was probably found inserted in an old model kit box. There is one horizontal fold as made. It measures 7-1/4'' x 6-3/8''. It appears to be in near mint to mint condition as pictured. |
