The actual print block is in reverse for printing. The block is not dated but is believed to be from the 1950s or 1960s. It is made of a solid block of metal. This print block came with others from the areas of Laconia, Lake Winnipesaukee, and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It may have been used for the Loudon, N.H. race track. It pictures two cars racing. Other blocks would have been used for the text in the advertisement printed. The block measures 3-5/8'' x 7/8'' x 7/8''. It is in near mint condition. |
