The picture shows a view of the (4) Old Celluloid Souvenir Elephant Figurines in this lot. These are not dated but they are old. The figures are made of molded celluloid filled with white plaster. Each of these are marked either ''Japan'' or ''Made In Japan''. These figures were most likely purchased as a souvenir from a zoo, animal park, circus, amusement park, carnival, boardwalk, or another old tourist attraction gift shop. They also may have been used as a prize from an old arcade game. One of these is marked ''WHITE MTS., N.H.'' on top. One has a decal that reads ''PROVINCETOWN, MASS.'' on top. The figurine that has three elephants has a partial maple leaf decal. It was probably from Canada.

To judge the sizes the largest figurine measures about 5'' tall. They appear to be in good to excellent condition as pictured. The celluloid may have shrunk on these over time or the plaster may have expanded when filled because there is some small separation and spliting of the celluloid. The Massachusetts elephant has one missing tusk and a cracked back leg. The three elephant figurine has one missing trunk.
