The top section is cardboard and has a slot to fold the pages over. It pictures a mortar & pestle, a measuring beaker, a certificate and a telephone. The first calendar page has a nice image of Santa Claus. The calendar itself is loaded with graphics, information, advertising, household tips, recipes, horoscopes, first aid, and much, much more!
