This photo would have been taken just before all these men were shipped off to their new different ships or commands. The entire back, and the left edge on the front of this post World War II photograph identifies the Sailors pictured and where they were from, including Illinois, Ohio, Massachusetts, Maryland, California, Maine, New York, New Hampshire, Indiana, Rhode Island, West Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and more.
