| The picture below shows a larger view of all (13) Old Small or Miniature Sea Ship Captain or Fisherman Related Items in this lot. These items are not dated but they are believed to range from the 1930s to the 1990s. This is an accumulated lot with a variety of items. The largest here is a painted Syroco Sea Captain figure. It is made of a compressed or molded sawdust material. It has two holes in the bottom of the base so it may have been mounted on something at one time. There is an old letter opener with a fisherman in his yellow slicker hat & rain coat. There is a pewter figurine of a Fisherman siting on a piling or pier post. There is a small or miniature painted plastic sea Captain figure or figurine. A Fisherman with a life ring or preserver. It was probably from a ship model kit. The other (8) items included here are all with the famous image of a Fisherman at a sailing ship's helm. The famous stature or memorial is in Gloucester, Massachusetts. There are (2) adjustable brass rings, a tie tack type pin, a charm bracelet charm, (2) copper charms, and (2) similar copper pins marked “MIGHTY MAC”. All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the Syroco Sea Captain figure measures 5-5/8'' tall. These items appear to range from excellent to mint condition as pictured. |
