The picture shows a view of this 1944 New York City Police Benevolent Association Delegate Ribbon Badge. At the top there is a frame pin section with a paper insert marked ''DELEGATE''. Hanging below the pin section is a blue ribbon with silver lettering. It is marked as follows:

P. B. A.
ENTERTAINMENT
& RECEPTION
JANUARY 29, 1944

Hanging from the ribbon is an enameled shield badge medal. It has a raised emblem and reads as follows:

CITY OF NEW YORK
POLICE
PBA

It measures about 3-5/8'' tall. The ''Delegate'' paper insert has some wear but the rest appears to be in near mint condition.
