The picture shows a front and back view of this colorful 1915 Cracker Jack Baseball Card of George T. Stallings Manager of the Boston Nationals. This is an original card from 1915 that was used as a prize in a box of Cracker Jack. It is not a reproduction or one of the newer cards that have been made. It is #162 of a set of 176 cards that were used. The cards issued were from the American, National, and Federal Leagues. They were put out by the Rueckheim Bros. & Eckstein, the makers of Cracker Jack.

The baseball cards were first used in 1914. The 1914 set of 144 baseball cards had proved to be popular, so the following year (1915) they were again added as a prize with a set of 176 cards. In 1915 the set was also offered as a mail away premium with an album to put them in. The cards from the 1915 set have the premium offer on the back and the 1914 cards do not.

We are not a grading company and this card has not been graded. Please judge by the clear image of the card as to the condition. Please keep in mind that these early Cracker Jack baseball cards were packed in the boxes right with the food product and it is normal to find molasses stains on them. This applies to those that were found in the boxes and not to the 1915 premium set that was mailed away for.
