The picture below shows larger front and back views of this 1906 Boston to Provincetown Steamship Ship Advertising Souvenir Leather Post Card. The steamship company had traveled this route since 1842. This postcard was postmarked in Provincetown, Massachusetts on August 15th, 1906, and it was mailed to a Worcester, Massachusetts address. It has a green one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp. The postcard has a stamped image of a steam ship with flags flying. Marked on the hull is “SOUVENIR CAPE COD”. The person who had mailed it drew themself on the ship and a lighthouse with a flag, and they also wrote “AN ENJOYABLE TRIP FROM BOSTON TO PROVINCETOWN”. The leather postcard measures about 4-7/8'' x 3-1/8''. It appears to be in excellent used condition as pictured.
