| | | | The picture shows a view of this 1960 Massachusetts In The Civil War Centennial Booklet. This is apparently the first in a series of booklets about the Civil War. This is Volume I ''The Call To Arms'' 1860 - 1861. This (52) page booklet is about the beginning of the Civil War. It was by Thomas H. O'Connor of Boston College and it was published in 1960 in Boston by The Massachusetts Civil War Centennial Commission. The cover pictures a Union Soldier in uniform, the American Flag, a Massachusetts state flag, and the State of Massachusetts. The book has a soft cover. It measures 5-1/2'' x 8-1/2''. It appears to be in excellent condition. The front cover and title page have a crease. The title page has a last name neatly written. The pages inside are bright and clean, but the cover has some age discoloration on the edges as pictured. |
