| | | | There are two pictures showing a view of the (2) Different Old Lowney's Chocolates Candy Boxes in this lot. They are not dated but believed to be from the early 1900's. The first one is marked that it is a one pound box. The other is believed to be the same. The first one is very colorful with fruit on the cover. It is marked as follows: Lowneys

Walter M. Lowney Co. Cambridge, Mass. The second one has a hinged lid with a Lowneys crest inside. It has blue velvet on the lid and all four sides. The medals, border and wording are all embossed. The bottom is gold. The first one measures 8-1/8" x 4-7/8" x 2". It is in near mint condition. The second one measures 8-5/8" x 5-1/2" x 1-3/4". It is in good condition with wear to the lettering and to the gold on the bottom. |
