The two items that are included here are a 1956 Salesman “DELUXE COLOR PHOTO PLATE BOOK”, and a “STARK EASY PLANTING GUIDE” booklet or brochure. Both of these items were from the STARK BRO’S NURSERIES AND ORCHARDS COMPANY of Louisiana, Missouri. The (140th) anniversary book has (120) large colorful pages filled with many different fruits, nuts, flowers, shrubs, and trees. It also has much advertising, information on garden planing and home landscaping with 1950s homes. The other item here was found inside the above book. It is a (12) page Stark Easy Planting Guide. It has instructions and illustrations inside. Both of these for one price! To judge the sizes the book measures about 9'' x 12-3/4''. The brochure appears to be in mint condition. The pages of the book appear to be in mint condition and the cover is excellent with some old red cloth tape on the binding edge as pictured. |
