|The picture shows this Old & Rare Miller Hollis Fudge Candy Bar Foil Wrapper. There is a backing wrapper as well. This is a 1-1/2 oz. wrapper. This candy was made by Miller & Hollis, Inc of Boston, Massachusetts. It measures 5" x 4-1/2" and in excellent condition but has the usual wrinkling from being wrapped on the candy. In searching for old candy wrappers I have found that it is not as easy as it might seem. No one saved these and now they are quite rare to find. This one as well as others in my items came from a candy, tobacco, and gum jobber in New Hampshire. Someone in the company had saved wrapper samples of all the candies they sold. Items acquired were from the 1910's to the 1940's. The business has been long since gone. This one is from that lot. |
