(4) Different Old Candy Glassine Wrappers / Envelopes
Candy   Candies   Confection   Confectionery   Wrapper   Advertising   Paper
The picture shows this Lot Of (4) Different Old Candy Glassine Wrappers / Envelopes. There is: A 5c Lem Tabs (unused mint), an Uncle John's Maple Walnut Fudge (unused mint) (cropped in the scan to fit), a Famous Keene Kisses wrapper (unused mint). The jobber company name appears on that one, and a Gilchrist's Golden Almond Macaroons (excellent). In searching for old candy wrappers I have found that it is not as easy as it might seem. No one saved these and now these are quite rare examples. These came from a candy, tobacco, and gum jobber in New Hampshire. Someone in the company had saved wrapper samples of all the candies they sold. Items acquired were from the 1910's to the 1940's. The business has been long since gone. These are from that lot. To judge the sizes of these the Keene Kisses measures 5" x 4".
