Old Washburn's Waleco Sweets Candy Bag / Wrapper

The picture shows this Old Washburn's Waleco Sweets Candy Bag Wrapper. The picture shows the pleated & printed cellophane wrapper / bag. This is a 7 oz. wrapper. This candy was made by F.B. Washburn Candy Corporation of Brockton, Massachusetts. It measures 2-1/8" x 7-1/2" and in excellent condition. In searching for old candy wrappers I have found that it is not as easy as it might seem. No one saved these and now these are quite rare examples. This one came from a candy, tobacco, and gum jobber in New Hampshire. Someone in the company had saved wrapper samples of all the candies they sold. Items acquired were from the 1910's to the 1940's. The business has been long since gone. This one is from that lot.
