The picture below shows larger front and back views of this Colorful Old Fort Constitution New Castle New Hampshire Advertising Souvenir Porcelain or Ceramic Plate. The plate is not dated but it is believed to be from the late 1800s, or early 1900s. In the center is a colorful Fort Constitution brick & stone wall scene with a castle gate. Around the plate it is dark or Navy blue with some gold scroll painting and gold paintededge. It is marked on the two sides as follows:

MADE IN GERMANY FOR
GEO. B. FRENCH CO.
PORTSMOUTH, N.H.

The small advertising souvenir plate measures about 5-3/16'' wide. It appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured.
