1905 Victorian Ladies Atlantic City Souvenir Real Photo Post Card
Postcard   Photo   Photograph   Photography   Victorian   Souvenir   Atlantic City   New Jersey   Maine   Paper   Ephemera   Novelty
The picture shows a front and back view of this 1905 Victorian Ladies Atlantic City Souvenir Real Photo Post Card. It has a real photographic image of two Victorian Ladies on their trip to Atlantic City in 1905. The image was probably taken at a souvenir stand or booth on the Boardwalk. Beside the image it reads:

HAD THESE TAKEN TODAY THINK THEY ARE FINE SO AM SENDING YOU ONE. IT IS A LOVELY DAY AND WE HAVE FULLY ENJOYED IT. HARRY IS WITH US AND WE ALL SEND REGARDS. YOURS, H & CLARA

The back has some print that reads as follows:

ATLANTIC CITY POST CARD
THIS SIDE FOR THE ADDRESS
GEORGE McFARLAND
SANFORD, ME.

It has two April 1905 postmarks, one from Atlantic City, New Jersey and one from Sanford, Maine. It has a one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp. The postcard measures 5-7/16" x 3-3/8". It does have some wear, light creasing and tiny cracks in the photo area.
