1939 Roller Coaster Mechanical Valentine
Mechanical   Valentine   Roller Coaster   Carnival   Fair   Card   Holiday
The picture shows this 1939 Roller Coaster Mechanical Valentine. It is in full color showing a girl in a car on an old wooden rollercoaster. There is a tiny image of a car in the background as well. The mechanical part on this card is her hat which is rivited and it moves to cover her head and all the way back showing all her curly hair. It is cute in that it simulates the speed which the car is going. The card reads:

"It Would Give Me A Thrill To Be Your Valentine"

Very small in the lower left corner there is: "Made In U.S.A.". Just above that written small is "From Clayton Wiggin 1939" and the same name is repeated on the back in pencil. There are a few paste spots on the back from being in a scrap book, none of which affect the image. It measures 4" x 6".
