Old Perry's Tropical Nut House Advertising Brochure Booklet
Advertising   Brochure   Booklet   Oddities   Tourist   Tourism   Candy   Souvenir   Nostalgic
The picture shows a view of this Old Perry's Tropical Nut House Advertising Brochure Booklet. Shown is the cover and three example pages from inside. Counting the covers there are (12) pages. There were two Perry's Tropical Nut House locations. One was in Belfast Maine and the other in Seabrook, New Hampshire. These places were museums. They housed a nut collection from around the world as well as stuffed animals, many of which were from P. T. Barnum of circus fame. There were large carved wooden animals as well. The place had many oddities and curiosities similar to Ripley's.

The tourist attraction sold candy, novelties, joke items, souvenirs, and more. The business had opened in 1927. It had closed and the contents had been sold at auction in 1997. This brochure is from around 1952. There are pictures inside as well as much information. This is a short history of the place.

The booklet measures 5'' x 6-7/8''. It is in good condition. The inside pades are clean and there is some discoloration on the cover. There are also some staple holes.
